Auren prepares Andorra’s Strategic Plan to lead eSports in Europe

Auren has developed, together with the Government of Andorra and Actua (Invest in Andorra), a Strategic Plan to position the Pyrenean country as an international benchmark in the eSports sector. The project, with a 2023 horizon, aims to position Andorra as a technological hub and a recognized destination for the development of the eSports business and to attract major international competitions, entities, and companies in the sector. To achieve this, the Plan includes a series of actions that will work on seven strategic axes: economy and business; tourism; competition; education; IT infrastructures; legal infrastructure; and governance.

The Strategic Plan was presented by the Minister of the Presidency, Economy and Business of Andorra, Jordi Gallardo, is led by Pilar Sánchez-Bleda, partner of the Media & Technology department of Auren Spain and Emilio Hurtado, Head of eSports & Gaming at Auren Spain, who assure that “the ultimate goal is to create an eSports ecosystem in the country, with a plan that contemplates policies, structures and projects and that involves all the agents of the value chain, national and international, for its economic and social development”.
